A one-off, non-refundable fee to cover the time we invest in working with you to plan and organise your surrogacy pathway. Both the intended parent(s) and the host must have a consultation pre-treatment.
Only required if an intended parent is providing sperm for treatment. If both intended parents may be providing sperm, both will need a diagnostic semen analysis.
Only required if an intended parent is providing eggs for treatment.
Not required if using donated eggs for treatment.

Cost includes screening at the time the sample is provided.
If an intended parent is providing sperm, it must be frozen and stored for a three-month quarantine period. After this, the intended parent will need repeat infectious screening before the sperm can be used in treatment.
Around 50% of patients pay less than £40 for medication during an IUI cycle. For the remaining 50%, the typical cost is around £375, although in rare cases medication can cost up to £771.

A frozen embryo transfer to a surrogate is not included in this cost.

Medication costs are tailored to your personalised treatment plan and usually range from £935 to £2,595. Around 25% of patients are prescribed medication at each end of this range, with half needing medication somewhere in between. If treatment is successful, we prescribe luteal support medication, usually up to ten weeks, at a typical additional cost of £115.
Required when using intended parent sperm, if the diagnostic semen analysis or previous treatment history show it is needed.
If there are fewer than nine eggs in a fresh donation cycle, a refund of £3,000 will be given.
To secure your chosen eggs and arrange transfer to your clinic, we require a part payment of £1,135 towards your treatment fee. Eggs are guaranteed for three months. The part payment is non-refundable but can be used against future treatment. ICSI is included as standard.

Does not include the cost of the donor’s initial consultation, pre-consultation screening tests, medication, or infectious screening. It does include £985 in donor expenses, paid directly to the donor following egg collection.
Medication is tailored to each donor. Around 73% of donors have a plan with drug costs between £935 and £1,911. Some donors, often those over 35, may need additional medication. Overall, drug costs can range from £935 to £2,595.
By law, all clinics must carry out infectious and genetic screening for egg donors. This is required before treatment starts and must be repeated for every cycle of ovarian stimulation.

Medication for a frozen embryo transfer typically costs £150 to £410. If treatment is successful, additional luteal support is prescribed, costing £225. Around 33% of patients may need injectable progesterone (rescue luteal support), which costs £795.
The fee includes treatment set up, biopsy set up and Caremaps AI. Extended culture and ICSI (if required) are not included. PGT-A can only be provided in an elective freeze all IVF treatment cycle.

Treatment fees are paid before treatment starts. Bank transfer, debit and credit cards are accepted; our preferred method is debit card. Care Fertility reserves the right to amend prices; once treatment and medication invoices are paid, the agreed price will not change unless we give six months’ notice. Effective from 1 January 2026.
