The UK's most trusted fertility clinic
Frequently asked questions
We get lots of questions—as the fertility experts, it’s what we’re here for. So if you're looking for answers, here are some of the ones we get asked the most. They might help you get started. As an existing patient, the best way for you to get in touch with your clinic, check your records, and much more, is via our treatment companion app, Salve.
Setting up Salve couldn’t be easier, head to the Google Play store or the Apple App store to download the app for free.
To be eligible for fertility treatment with Care Fertility, your BMI must be between 19 and 35. If your BMI is lower than 19 or higher than 35, you won’t qualify for treatment. For egg donors, the required BMI range is between 19 and 30. For more information on your BMI and how this can affect your fertility journey, you can read our blog here.
At Care Fertility, we offer treatment up to the age of 49. Currently, our policy doesn’t support treatment for women aged 50 or over. This guideline is based on clinical best practice and is in place to prioritise the health and safety of both the patient and any future child.
