      What happens if one partner has travelled to a Zika-risk area but the other hasn’t?

      The partner who has travelled must follow the waiting and testing guidelines before starting fertility treatment or attempting conception.

      • Women must wait 8 weeks or undergo testing after 28 days back in the UK.
      • Men must wait 3 months or undergo testing after 28 days back in the UK.
