Stacy is a dedicated practitioner with surrogacy as her expertise. She supports intended parents and surrogate hosts throughout their journey as well as known donors and their recipients.

Training

Stacy’s transitioned from a career in the fitness industry, where she served as a professional and lecturer. In 2010, she underwent Midwifery training at Salford University, achieving a first-class honours degree. Committed to professional development, Stacy is a trained mentor and assessor, currently undergoing her training to become a British Fertility Society module trainer for creating modern families. Her diverse background brings valuable perspectives to her role in the fertility field.

Career

Stacy started her career as a fitness professional in the south. She started to retrain as a midwife in 2010 and worked within the NHS for 8 years. Stacy was part of the continuity of care team in Both Warrington Hospital and University hospital south Manchester. In 2020 Stacy saw a job advertised for a surrogate midwife and after caring for a surrogacy team at Warrington and this staying with her, jumped at the opportunity and has not looked back. Stacy has been a guest lecturer at Salford University for the midwifery students in IVF and donation, helping the new generation of midwives understand the latest research and importance of supporting the modern family in the pregnancy continuum.

Stacy was nominated for Surrogacy Professional of the year in 2023. Care Fertility was a runner up in the National Surrogacy awards 2022 and a winner in 2023.
