About the event

If you've been through a pregnancy loss, or a treatment cycle that didn't work, you've probably got a lot of questions. Why did it happen? Is there anything we can find out? What could be different next time?

Join Dr Alison Richardson and Dr Tom Bamford for an honest, expert conversation about what comes next. In the first 30 minutes, they'll talk you through:

  • Why it happens: why pregnancy loss and unsuccessful cycles sometimes happen, explained in simple terms

  • What we can test: the tests and investigations that can help us understand more about your situation

  • What we can change: how we might shape or adapt your treatment plan, whether it's your first cycle or your next

  • What we can add: what treatment add-ons are, what the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) rating system tells us, and when they may, or may not, be worth considering

  • Support at your own pace: emotional support and counselling, available whenever you're ready

They’ll then spend 30 minutes answering your questions live. Whether this would be your first cycle of IVF or you’re thinking about moving to Care Fertility from another clinic, the session is there to help you understand your options and feel ready for whatever you decide next.

Your camera and microphone stay off the whole time, and you can type questions into the Q&A box whenever you like.
