Dee Durham is the Lead Counsellor for Care Fertility. An experienced and accredited counsellor, Dee heads a team of 15 highly experienced and specialist fertility counsellors who offer the support for all of our patients through their fertility journey.
Training
Dee is a British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA) accredited counsellor with many years experience in the field of fertility. Dee trained as a Psychotherapeutic counsellor before moving into the fertility world. She is also a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) combining these two very different types of counselling to offer Care Fertility patients the counselling they require.
Career
Dee was a nurse for many years prior to retraining as a counsellor. Although not having the experience of nursing in the fertility world, Dee has extensive experience within the clinical environment, understanding the anxieties and stresses that this environment can hold for patients.
