Dr Ishita Mishra is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a subspecialist interest in Reproductive Medicine and Medical Education.

She is currently a Subspecialty Registrar in Reproductive Medicine (SST7) at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust, where she provides expert care to patients undergoing fertility treatment. Alongside her clinical work, she is completing a PhD at the University of Birmingham, investigating the association between adenomyosis and pregnancy loss in women undergoing Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) treatment.

 

Dr Mishra has extensive research experience, having worked as a Clinical Research Fellow at Tommy's National Centre for Miscarriage Research and at Care Fertility Birmingham. This work has given her particular expertise in gynaecological ultrasound scanning, including 3D imaging, and in the use of artificial intelligence to enhance diagnostic confidence in adenomyosis, recurrent miscarriage, and endometriosis.

Prior to her subspecialty training, Dr Mishra worked as an ST6 Specialty Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Countess of Chester Hospital, building a broad foundation in women's health before focusing on reproductive medicine.

She combines up-to-date clinical expertise with an active research profile, ensuring patients benefit from the latest evidence-based approaches to fertility care.
