Care Value

Care Value is our simplest way to begin IVF without the wait. It’s designed for people who are ready to take that first step into treatment but don’t want to sit on long NHS waiting lists — especially if this is your first time exploring fertility care.

Priced at £2,995 per cycle (using your own fresh eggs), Care Value offers a cost-effective route into IVF while still giving you the same expert clinical support, personalised guidance, and careful monitoring that Care is known for. It includes everything you need to begin treatment safely and with clarity around what’s involved.

We’ve shaped this package for people who are likely to respond well to a straightforward IVF pathway, so you can move ahead quickly, understand your costs from the start, and feel supported at every step.

Medication

All necessary medications for your IVF cycle are included in the package. This covers hormonal treatments, and any other drugs required to support the success of your treatment.

HFEA fees The package includes fees associated with the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), which oversees the regulation of fertility treatments in the UK.
Sedation

Sedation during your egg retrieval procedure ensures you are comfortable and relaxed, allowing for a smoother and less stressful experience.

One fresh embryo transfer

This includes the transfer of one freshly retrieved embryo into your uterus, carefully timed to maximise the chances of successful implantation.

In-treatment scans and blood tests Regular monitoring through scans and blood tests is essential to track your progress and adjust treatment as needed. This includes tracking hormone levels and assessing your response to stimulation.
First pregnancy scan The initial scan after your embryo transfer to check for early signs of pregnancy and confirm that implantation has occurred.
Egg collection Retrieval of your eggs is included, performed under sedation or local anaesthetic, to ensure comfort, accessibility, and accuracy during the procedure.
Fertility support counselling Our Fertility Support Counselling provides emotional and psychological support during your fertility journey. You receive one session with our experienced counsellors, offering a safe space to discuss your feelings and concerns.
Luteal support medication Medication provided up to your pregnancy test date to support the luteal phase and enhance the chances of a successful implantation and pregnancy.

Initial tests and consultation

Before starting treatment, you will need to undergo initial tests at an additional cost of £595. These tests are crucial for assessing your fertility and creating a tailored treatment plan:

AMH blood test

Measures your Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) levels to assess your ovarian reserve and help predict your response to ovarian stimulation.

Semen analysis Evaluates the quality and quantity of sperm to ensure optimal conditions for fertilisation.
Pelvic ultrasound scan Provides a detailed view of your reproductive organs, including the ovaries and uterus, to identify any potential issues and guide treatment.
Consultation with an advanced nurse practitioner A thorough consultation to discuss your test results, treatment options, and to address any questions or concerns you may have.

Is Care Value right for me?

To be eligible, you’ll need to meet a few clinical criteria. These aren’t hoops to jump through — they’re there to give you the best possible chance of success within this package, based on what we know from years of supporting patients right across the UK.

Care Value is a good fit if:

  • You’re under 37

  • Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is 30 or below

  • You have a reassuring Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) level

  • You haven’t had fertility treatment before

If you fall outside these criteria, you’re still very welcome to start treatment with us — your doctor will simply talk you through the alternatives that may suit your situation better.

Why these criteria matter

Why under 37?

Fertility changes gradually over time, but egg quality and the number of available eggs do start to decline more noticeably from the mid-30s onwards. Under 37s typically:

  • Respond more predictably to stimulation medication

  • Produce a higher number of good-quality eggs

  • Have a higher chance of developing embryos suitable for transfer

This predictability is why this package is shaped around this age group — it helps us keep the pathway simple and cost-effective without compromising on care.

Why BMI needs to be 30 or below

BMI is one of the factors that can influence both treatment response and pregnancy health. A BMI of 30 or under reduces the chance of complications, including:

  • Needing unusually high medication doses

  • Ovarian hyperstimulation

  • Reduced egg quality

  • Lower implantation rates

It’s not about appearance — it’s about ensuring your body is in the safest place possible for treatment to work well.

Why AMH matters

Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) gives us a sense of your ovarian reserve — in simple terms, the number of eggs your ovaries are likely to respond with during treatment. A good AMH level usually means:

  • You’re likely to respond well to medication

  • We can stimulate safely without needing a complex protocol

  • There’s a higher chance of collecting enough good-quality eggs

If your AMH is lower, we’ll still support you — your doctor will simply recommend a different treatment approach that gives you a better chance of success.

Why it’s for people who haven’t had treatment before

If you’ve already had IVF somewhere else, you’ll already have a history of how your body responds. For some people, this history means we’d need to tailor the approach more carefully, adjust medication based on past outcomes, or look at more advanced options.

Care Value is kept simple, so we reserve it for people whose response isn’t yet known — where we can be confident the standard pathway is likely to be clinically appropriate.

Frequently asked questions

What if I’m close to the criteria but not quite there?

Don’t worry — you’re not ruled out of treatment. These criteria are specific to Care Value, not to your ability to have IVF. Our doctors will talk you through the other options that can be tailored more closely to your needs.

What fertility tests do I need before starting?

All patients begin with fertility tests — these are arranged by our Patient Enquiry Team when you call us. Your doctor reviews the results during your consultation so you get clear, personalised advice right from your first appointment.

How long will it take to get started?

Once your consultation is complete, you’ll receive a summary and cost estimates via the companion app. After you’ve completed your viral screening blood tests and consent forms (via Engaged MD), you’ll meet with a nurse for your treatment planning. Medication is then ordered through the app and delivered via Stork.

What if my AMH or BMI is slightly outside the range?

If you’re not eligible for Care Value at the moment, it doesn’t mean you can’t have IVF — it simply means this particular package isn’t the safest or most effective match for your current clinical profile. You’re still absolutely able to start treatment with us, and we have other pathways that can be tailored more closely to your needs.

For some people, a small lifestyle change is all that’s needed to bring things into range. If your BMI is above 30, even a modest amount of weight loss can improve how your body responds to treatment and help reduce the risk of complications. We know this isn’t always easy — especially when you’re already dealing with fertility worries — but even gradual changes, such as adjusting eating habits, increasing movement, or finding a routine that works for you, can make a meaningful difference.

If you’re using weight-loss medications like Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, or similar, it’s important to know that these drugs require a “wash-out” period before starting IVF. This means you’ll need to stop the medication for a set time before beginning treatment. For some people, this can delay when they’re able to get started, so it’s something to think about when planning your timeline.

You can read more about GLP-1 medications and IVF here

If age, AMH, or BMI mean Care Value isn’t the right option, don’t worry — you’re not at a dead end. It simply means we’d recommend a more personalised approach with one of our other IVF packages, where your doctor can tailor medication, monitoring, and support based on what your body needs. You’ll still receive the same level of expert care, just with a treatment plan shaped more closely around you.

Whenever you’re ready, we can talk through the alternatives and help you choose the pathway that feels right for you. You’re not being ruled out — you’re just being directed towards the safest and most effective route forward.

Is this package as safe and monitored as other IVF options? Absolutely. You receive the same clinical care, same monitoring, same team — the only difference is that this package is designed for people whose medical profile means they’re likely to follow a straightforward IVF pathway.

Additional treatments

Care Value offers a straightforward pathway by including only the essential elements of treatment. This package does not include additional techniques, such as Caremaps-AI or Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy (PGT-A), which may be beneficial for patients with more complex fertility challenges.

If you meet these criteria and are ready to begin your fertility journey with a cost-effective solution, Care Value could be the right option for you.

This cutting-edge, non-invasive technique helps embryologists identify the embryos with the highest potential for successful birth, offering more precise assessments than traditional methods such as morphology or time-lapse imaging alone. ZyMot An advanced method of sperm preparation, ZyMot has been designed to mimic the body’s natural mode of sperm selection. First Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) This add-on includes the transfer of your first frozen embryo.
First year storage payment plan If you don't want a frozen embryo transfer and want to just store your frozen embryos, our first-year storage payment plan offers a convenient and affordable solution for managing the cost of storing your additional embryos. By choosing the direct debit option, you can spread the total cost over a 12-month period, allowing you to plan your finances, and focus on the journey ahead.
