Dr Debra Bloor - Director of Governance
Dr. Debra Bloor is the Director of Governance for Care Fertility Group, bringing over 20 years of experience in IVF. She has dedicated much of her career to advancing fertility treatments and ensuring high standards in patient care.

Training

She earned her PhD in 1992 and subsequently dedicated a decade to researching molecular biology and drug design at the University of Manchester. During her time there, she focussed on understanding the causes of infertility and improving fertility treatments.

Career

Debra joined the fertility regulator, the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) in 2004, and became the Chief Inspector in 2014. She played a crucial role in overseeing the compliance of all UK fertility clinics with legal requirements, and ensured the delivery of sage and efficient treatments.

Joining Care Fertility in 2016, Debra brings her wealth of experience to support the Care Fertility team, and ensure that we deliver the highest quality and patient-focussed treatments, whilst aligning with regulatory standards. Debra's dedication to maintaining excellence in assisted reproduction reflects her commitment to the highest standards in fertility care.
