Care Value is our simplest IVF package, designed for people who are likely to follow a straightforward treatment pathway and want clear costs from the start. What is Care Value?

Care Value is our simplest way to begin IVF without the wait. It’s designed for people who are ready to take that first step into treatment but don’t want to sit on long NHS waiting lists — especially if this is your first time exploring fertility care.

It has been designed to keep things clear and cost-effective. You’ll have the key parts of your IVF cycle included, from medication and monitoring through to egg collection and one fresh embryo transfer. You’ll also have support from our team throughout, so while the package is streamlined, you’re not doing this on your own.

This package may be a good fit if your test results suggest that your body is likely to respond predictably to IVF medication, and if you do not need additional techniques such as PGT-A, Caremaps-AI or embryo banking.

Initial tests and consultation

Before you start treatment, you’ll need your fertility tests and consultation. These are separate from your treatment package price and are usually completed through our Pre-treatment Bundle, priced at £575.

This bundle helps make sure you’re ready for treatment. It brings together the essential tests your doctor needs to understand your fertility health, check for anything that could affect your treatment plan, and talk you through your options with the right information in front of them.

When you call us, our new patient team will help book your tests and consultation. Your tests are completed before you see your doctor, so your consultation can focus on what your results mean, which package may be right for you, and what your next steps could look like.

Pelvic Ultrasound Scan
 Internal scan to check your ovaries, uterus, follicle count, and womb lining. 
AMH
AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone) Blood Test

Measures ovarian reserve to estimate how your ovaries may respond to treatment.

Is Care Value right for me?

To be eligible, you’ll need to meet a few clinical criteria. These aren’t hoops to jump through — they’re there to give you the best possible chance of success within this package, based on what we know from years of supporting patients right across the UK.

You’re under 37
Your BMI is 30 or below
Your AMH is between 15 and 30pmol/l
You haven’t had fertility treatment before
You’re using your own fresh eggs
You’re likely to follow a straightforward IVF pathway
 

Why these criteria matter

Care Value is designed for people who are likely to follow a straightforward IVF pathway. The criteria help us make sure this package is a safe and suitable option for you, based on what we know before treatment begins.

Your age, BMI, AMH level and treatment history can all affect how your body may respond to IVF medication, how your eggs may develop, and whether you might need a more personalised treatment plan.

If you do not meet the Care Value criteria, it does not mean IVF is not an option for you. It simply means another package may be a better fit, giving your doctor more flexibility to tailor your care around your results, your health and your goals.

Before anything starts, you’ll complete your Pre-treatment Bundle so your doctor can review your results during your consultation and talk you through the most suitable next step.

 

Additional treatments

Care Value is designed to keep IVF treatment simple and cost-effective by focusing on the essential parts of a straightforward cycle. It does not include additional techniques such as Caremaps Ai or PGT-A as standard.

For some patients, these techniques may be recommended as part of a more personalised treatment plan, particularly where there are more complex fertility needs or previous treatment history. If your doctor thinks an additional technique could support your treatment, they’ll talk you through your options and explain whether another package may be more suitable.

Caremaps AI helps us choose the embryo with the best chance of success. Embryos are grown in a time-lapse incubator, where they’re continuously monitored without being disturbed. 

The AI has been trained on millions of  images, helping identify patterns linked to implantation that aren’t always visible through standard checks.

PGT-A involves removing a small number of cells from an embryo to test its chromosomes before transfer.

Around 50% of embryos are aneuploid, meaning they’re unlikely to lead to a successful pregnancy. PGT-A helps us identify and avoid these, so we can focus on embryos with the best chance.

Frequently asked questions

We know treatment costs and eligibility criteria can bring up a lot of questions, especially when you’re comparing IVF packages for the first time. These FAQs are here to help you understand what Care Value includes, how the Pre-treatment Bundle fits in, and what happens if this package is not quite right for you.

You don’t need to have every answer before you speak to us. Our team will help you take things one step at a time, starting with the tests and consultation that make sure your treatment plan is based on the clearest possible picture.

 

How long will it take to get started?

Once your consultation is complete, you’ll receive a summary and cost estimates via the companion app. After you’ve completed your viral screening blood tests and consent forms (via Engaged MD), you’ll meet with a nurse for your treatment planning. Medication is then ordered through the app and delivered via Stork.
Is Care Value really £3,500? Yes. Care Value is £3,500 per IVF cycle for eligible patients using their own fresh eggs. Before treatment starts, you’ll need your essential fertility tests and consultation through our Pre-treatment Bundle, priced at £575, so your doctor can check whether Care Value is clinically suitable for you. 
What does the Pre-treatment Bundle include? The Pre-treatment Bundle includes the key tests and consultation needed before treatment. This may include your pelvic ultrasound scan, AMH blood test, full blood count, TSH, HbA1c, Vitamin D, semen analysis where required, and a consultation with a Care Fertility doctor.
Why do I need the Pre-treatment Bundle first? The bundle helps make sure you’re ready for treatment. Your tests are completed before your consultation, so your doctor can review your results, explain what they mean, and talk you through the package or treatment plan that may be right for you. 
What if I don’t meet the Care Value criteria?  It doesn’t mean IVF is not an option. It simply means Care Value may not be the best fit for your needs. Your doctor will talk you through your results and explain which package or treatment pathway may be more suitable. 
Is medication included in Care Value? Yes. IVF cycle medication is included in the £3,500 Care Value package price, covering the medication needed to stimulate your ovaries and support your treatment up to test day. 
Does Care Value include embryo freezing? Care Value includes one fresh embryo transfer. Embryo freezing and storage are not included as standard, but if this becomes relevant during treatment, your clinical team will explain your options and any additional costs.
Can I have Care Value if I’ve had IVF before? No. Care Value is designed for people who have not had fertility treatment before. If you’ve had IVF or another fertility treatment previously, another package may give your doctor more flexibility to personalise your care.
What happens after my consultation? After your consultation, you’ll receive a summary of your results, treatment options and cost estimates through your Care Fertility treatment companion app. Before treatment begins, you’ll complete viral screening blood tests, consent forms through Engaged MD, and a nurse treatment planning appointment. 
How do I get started? Call our New Patient Enquiry Team and they’ll help book your Pre-treatment Bundle, including your tests and consultation. Once your results are ready, your doctor will talk you through whether Care Value is the right option for you.
