Caroline has more than 17 years’ experience in embryology and joined Care Fertility in 2010. Before training as an embryologist, she completed an MPhil in Neuroscience followed by a PhD in Developmental Biology at the University of Manchester. She then spent time working as an academic researcher before transitioning into clinical embryology.
Caroline completed her embryology training and achieved the Association of Clinical Embryologists (ACE) Certificate in 2012. She gained state registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in 2014 and went on to work at Care Fertility Manchester as a Senior Embryologist, developing a specialist interest in preimplantation genetic testing (PGT).
In August 2022, Caroline was appointed Laboratory Manager at the Care Fertility Bath clinic. Since taking on this role, she has maintained consistently high success rates. She continues to play an active role in PGT, sits on Care Fertility’s biopsy focus group, and is closely involved in the Scientist Training Programme, supporting the development of the next generation of embryologists.
