Dr Agnese Gambaro is a Deputy Medical Director and a Consultant Gynaecologist/Advanced Fertility Specialist in Reproductive Medicine.

Training

Dr Gambaro graduated with honours and subsequently completed her training in Gynaecology and Obstetrics and obtained her PhD in Endocrinology and Reproductive Biotechnology at the Sapienza University in Rome. During her training, Dr. Gambaro focused her area of interest on infertility and gynaecological diagnostics (3D ultrasound, sonohysterosalpingography, hysterosalpingography and hysteroscopy), devoting herself primarily to the treatment of infertile couples at 360°.

I believe in treating couples at 360 degrees, not just the fertility question in front of me, but everything around it. That's the only way I know how to practise

Career

Dr Gambaro is Medical Director at Care Fertility Tunbridge Wells, where she leads the clinic’s medical team.

Before joining Care Fertility, she worked at the Assisted Conception Unit at Guy’s Hospital in London, first as a Clinical Fellow and then as a Specialty Doctor in Fertility. During her time there, she developed her expertise in infertility, treatment using donor eggs or sperm, and fertility preservation.

She is a member and trainer of the British Fertility Society (BFS), a member of the Italian Medical Society of Great Britain, and a certified member of the International Ovarian Tumour Analysis (IOTA) group.

Dr Gambaro is passionate about research. She has contributed to several scientific publications and presented her work at leading international conferences.
