Dr Candice Cheung is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a specialist interest in reproductive medicine. She is delighted to be part of the Care Fertility group and feels privileged to support individuals and couples on their journey to becoming parents.
Dr Cheung graduated from King’s College London, where she was awarded her MBBS with distinctions in medical and clinical sciences. During her undergraduate training, she developed a strong interest in reproductive medicine.
She completed her foundation training in Kent and East London before undertaking a Master of Science (MSc) in Reproductive Sciences and Women’s Health at University College London (UCL). Dr Cheung went on to complete her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in the East of England Deanery, working across several hospitals including Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust and Cambridge University Hospitals.
During this time, she completed the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) Advanced Specialty Training Module in Subfertility and Reproductive Health, as well as the Pelvic Ultrasound Scanning module certified by the British Fertility Society.
Dr Cheung has worked as a Clinical Research Fellow at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, where her research focused on perinatal outcomes associated with assisted reproductive technology. She has presented her work at national and international conferences and has contributed to book chapters and peer-reviewed publications.
Most recently, she worked as a Fertility Specialist at TFP Oxford Fertility, where she was also involved in delivering lectures for the University of Oxford MSc course in Clinical Embryology.
Dr Cheung is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the British Fertility Society, and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.
