Dr Jahnavi Esanakula is a dedicated Fertility Specialist with extensive experience in reproductive medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology. She is passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate their fertility journey with compassion, empathy and evidence-based care.
Training and expertise
Dr Jahnavi completed her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in India before pursuing advanced fellowship training in Reproductive Medicine in India. During her postgraduate training, she was recognised with the 'Best Postgraduate Award' for her academic excellence and clinical performance.
She is a Member of the British Fertility Society (BFS), European society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and is fully registered with the UK General Medical Council (GMC).
Her clinical expertise includes fertility assessment, ovulation induction, fertility preservation, transvaginal ultrasound scanning, ovum pick-up procedures, embryo transfer, hysteroscopy and fertility counselling.
She has particular interest in fertility preservation, recurrent implantation failure and advancements in reproductive medicine.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Jahnavi is actively involved in academic activities, teaching and research. She has presented at national conferences, authored several peer-reviewed publications and contributed chapters to medical textbooks in gynaecology and reproductive medicine.
She is also a member of professional organisations including BFS, ESHRE, FOGSI and ISAR.

With over 10 years of clinical experience and specialised training in assisted reproductive technologies (ART), Dr Jahnavi has worked across leading fertility centres in both India and the United Kingdom. She currently works as a Fertility Specialist at Care Fertility Leeds, where she supports patients through a wide range of fertility treatments and reproductive health concerns.
Throughout her career, Dr Jahnavi has been committed to patient-centred care, ensuring every patient feels supported, informed and empowered during treatment. She believes in building strong relationships with her patients through honest communication, kindness and personalised treatment planning.
