Mary is a Nurse Manager at Care Fertility and has been part of the team since 2001. With over two decades of experience in fertility nursing, she brings deep knowledge, care, and understanding to her role.

Training and expertise

Mary trained at Derby Royal Hospital and has continued to build extensive expertise in fertility nursing throughout her career at Care Fertility.

She has a special interest in genetic services and was the link nurse for Care Fertility when the preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) service was first established. In this role, she helped support the development of an important area of treatment for patients who need specialist genetic care.

I feel privileged to support patients through such an important and personal part of their lives, and I am passionate about ensuring every patient feels informed, cared for, and supported throughout their journey.

Career

She trained at Derby Royal Hospital before moving into fertility care, where she has supported patients through every stage of their treatment journey. Mary is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centred care and making sure every patient feels informed, listened to, and supported.

As Nurse Manager, Mary leads the nursing team with a strong focus on clinical excellence, empathy, and creating a positive experience for patients.
