Katie is the Patient Services Manager at Care Fertility Manchester. She joined Care Fertility in 2022 and has since played an important role in supporting both patients and clinic teams.
Training and expertise
Katie leads a team of 10 Patient Services colleagues, supported by Team Lead Hayley Cuthbert. Together, they support patients with everything from booking counselling appointments to follow-up touchpoint calls after consultations, helping make each stage of the process feel clearer and more manageable.
She is particularly proud of the support Manchester provides for NHS patients, alongside specialist services such as surgical sperm retrieval (SSR) and hysteroscopy. Katie values the close collaboration between departments, recognising how important joined-up care is for the overall patient experience.
Her approach is practical, compassionate, and patient-focused. She enjoys being based in clinic and meeting patients face to face, helping them feel welcomed, supported, and listened to throughout their treatment journey.
Career
Katie is the Patient Services Manager at Care Fertility Manchester. She joined Care Fertility in 2022 and has since played an important role in supporting both patients and clinic teams.
From April 2025 to April 2026, Katie also covered the Clinic Manager role on secondment. This gave her the opportunity to work closely with every department and gain a deeper understanding of how the clinic operates as a whole. She brought this experience back to the Patient Services team, helping strengthen the support offered to patients every day.
Before joining Care Fertility, Katie managed large teams across retail, aviation, care, and beauty. She now brings that leadership experience into fertility care, where she has found real fulfilment in helping patients through their journey to family.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys long walks, travelling, and experiencing different cuisines. Her favourite travel destination so far has been Zakopane.
She also has a French Bulldog called Bleu, who keeps her busy and entertained with plenty of personality.
